Abstract

In managing chicken farms, often MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors experience various obstacles, one of which is during the process of dividing internal organs in poultry, for example the process of dividing intestinal organs. The intestines themselves in the process can also be processed into a variety of ready-to-sell foods. However, in practice, in the process of dividing the intestines, there are still obstacles, namely the division of the intestines using a knife or small pieces of bamboo to remove feces in the intestines. This causes a long time in the process which makes production time ineffective and efficient. Therefore, there is a need for innovation to facilitate the process of dividing the poultry intestines. Based on this background, this research aims to create an innovative product that can be used by small industry entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to facilitate the intestinal division process. The researcher conducted a literature study by looking for various information about it and making a flowchat or flowchart as a reference in the research process. Based on the results of the study, it can be explained that the use of bamboo gaps in the process of dividing poultry intestines is still not optimal because it takes a lot of time in the departation process. The use of the innovative poultry intestinal splitting device that I made can minimize the processing time so that it can provide maximum results and in terms of time and results of intestinal division
