About the Journal

J-STEM: Journal of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is an international refereed journal dedicated to the scientific exploration of topics in the exact and engineering fields.

J-STEM welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and methodological discussions that will clearly contribute to the advancement of knowledge and research in the fields of exact sciences and engineering.

Authors are invited to submit their work in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Each submission will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic rigor and quality. J-STEM is committed to promoting diversity, inclusivity, and excellence in scholarship across diverse geographical regions and cultural contexts

Submissions to J-STEM should pertain to one of the following disciplines:

1. Mathematics

Analysis, algebra, topology, graph, approach of numerical simulation or known by the term of numerical analysis, optimum controls, queuing issues, optimization, finance, biomatematics, industrial mathematics, financial mathematics, and others

2. Physics

Atomic and nuclear physics, theoretical, experimental and physics education, material physics and instrumentation, geophysics (earth and environmental sciences).

3. Chemistry and environment

Organic chemistry, physical and theoretical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, materials chemistry, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, organometallic chemistry, coordination chemistry, biomolecular chemistry, natural products and medicinal chemistry, electrochemistry, environmental chemistry.

4. Mechanics and industry

Otomotif, electrical vehicle, energy conversion, energy conservation, renewable energy, energy technology, energy management, applied mechanics, automobiles and automotive engineering, tribology, biomechanics, dynamic and vibration, mechanical system design, mechatronics, material science, composite and smart material, micro and nano engineering, powder metallurgy, advanced manufacturing techniques, automation in manufacturing, modelling, and optimization of manufacturing processes, management operation and operational research, decision-making models, logistic/supply chain management, lean manufacturing, fuzzy sets application in industrial engineering,  operations in the service industry, quality management, ergonomics for manufacturing/supply chain, and human factors engineering for manufacturing/supply chain.

5. Civil and environment

Structural engineering, construction engineering & management, geotechnical engineering, water resources engineering, transportation engineering and ocean engineering, geo-disaster (earthquake, landslide, and volcanic eruption), water-related disaster (flood, debris flow, coastal disaster, and tsunami), and human-made disasters such as soil, water, and air pollution and water scarcity, articles describing the topics of disaster risk reduction techniques, disaster early warning system, climate change adaptation, vulnerability analysis and trends, pre and/or post-disaster reconstruction and rehabilitation planning and management, forensic engineering, the socio-engineering approach for the countermeasures, or water reuse and recycle are particularly encouraged.

6. Electronics and informatics

Software engineering, knowledge and data mining, multimedia technologies, mobile computing, parallel/distributed computing, data communication and networking, computer graphics, virtual reality, data and cyber security, power generation, power distribution, power conversion, protection systems, electrical material, signals, systems, and electronics: digital signal processing algorithm, robotic systems, image processing, biomedical engineering, microelectronics, instrumentation and control, artificial intelligence, digital and analog circuit design, communication systems: management and protocol network, telecommunication systems, antenna, radar, high frequency and microwave engineering, wireless communications, optoelectronics, fuzzy sensor and network, internet of things

7. Agriculture

Agronomy, science of soils, pest and disease of, agricultural engineering, industrial technology, technology food, the science of nutrition, family and consumers, biometry, biology, climatology, livestock, fisheries and of marine science, health care and the environment, forestry, and socioeconomic agricultural, agricultural and biosystem engineering.
